24 Hour is a free French language daily newspaper published by Quebec Media in Montreal, Canada. It was previously part of a series of free papers, including a French-language paper published in Gatineau and an English-language paper published in Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. The Gatineau version was discontinued in 2006, and the Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa versions ceased publishing in 2013. The Toronto and Vancouver versions were sold to the Postmedia Network as part of Quebec's English language news distribution, and were later acquired by Torster on 2 November. An asset swap in November, 2011 and immediately shut down in those cities in favor of Torster-owned Metro Papers (rebranding Star Metro the following year).
