Le Journal de Montreal is a daily, French-language tabloid magazine published in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is the most widely circulated newspaper in Quebec and the largest French-language daily in North America. Founded by Pierre Peradio in 1964, it is owned by Quebec Media and is therefore a sister publication of the TVA flagship CFTM-TT. It is also the largest tabloid newspaper in Canada. It is headquartered at 4545 Frontenac Street in Montreal.


Le Journal de Montreal covers mostly local and provincial news, as well as sports, fine arts and justice. This is his sensational news and his columnists who are often referred to as public figures. The newspaper has had an investigative desk since 2013 which has published several major news items on Quebec's politics, trade, crime and national security. It is the only Montreal magazine ints printed on Sunday since La Presse and The Gazette dropped their Sunday editions.
