NTV (National Television) is a Bengali language satellite television channel based in Bangladesh. It started operating in 2003. It is one of the most popular Bangla TV channels in the country. On the channel’s anniversary, the founder expressed interest in creating NTV2 to further satisfy the surveillance. The channel broadcasts coverage of news, soap opera, educational, religious and political programs. NTVT owner Mosaddeq Ali Falu, a businessman. He was the leader and vice-president of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. He resigned from his post in 2016.
