GTV, also known as Gazi Television, is a Bengali language digital cable television channel. The channel provides a variety of programming including sports like news, movies, dramas, talk shows, cricket. It was moved from its studio to the teak garden in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The channel started broadcasting in Bangladesh on June 12, 2012. In 2014, the channel bought television broadcasts from BCB for 6 years (from 2014 to 2020) for years (2014 1,014 million). In 2016, it also bought the broadcasting rights of BPL from BCB. The station is owned by Gazi Group, the current owner and member of the ruling Bangladesh Awami League party, Golam Dastagir Gazi.
