Basic Details
"Azad League" is a daily socio-political newspaper. The Azad League was established in 1969 as a weekly publication of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan. The first issue was published on December 24 of the same year. The first editor of the magazine was Najaf Najafov (1989-1991).
In 1991-1994, the "Azad League" was led by Ganimat Zahid, in 1994-2001 by Gunduz Tahirli, and in 2001-2003 by Ravshan Hajibelli. Ganimat Zahid has been the editor-in-chief of Azad League since 2003.
The daily newspaper "Mukti" has been published 6 times a week since 1996.
