Rilindaja Democratic (English: Democratic Rebirth and Short RD) is an Albanian magazine founded and published seamlessly in Tirana. Bledi Kasmi is the editor-in-chief of the official newspaper of the Democratic Party of Albania. It was first published on January 5, 1991, and was the first independent newspaper since the fall of Albania, when it worked against the state-run newspaper Jury I Populist, a Communist Party newspaper and now the Socialist Party. One of the most respected newspapers in the Albanian media, as its first issue was the subject of the first free media promotion in 46 years. RD was also the first Albanian media to publicly criticize the rule of Enver Hokhar.
