Gazeta Express
Gazeta Express is a news portal owned by Media Works of the Republic of Kosovo. A new media company was set up in 2005 by a group of senior editors and journalists, funded by IPKO, Kosovo's leading private telecommunications company. The initial group of founders includes: Berat Bujala, Patriot Selimi, Dukagzin Gurani, Ilire Mirena, Astrit Gashi, Orlanda Desku, Andrew Testa, Georges Philipaz, Bull Salihu, etc. The first editor-in-chief was Dukagzin Gurani (2005), then. Berat Bujala (2007). The first CEO of the company was Patriot Selimi (2005), followed by Baton Haxio (2007) and Shipend Jakupi (2010-2013). Nowadays the CEO is Berat Bujala and the chief editor is Leonard Kirkki. The news portal is known for its wide range of news, fast news distribution, independent editorial and op-ed, as well as investigative journalism.
