Basic Details
The Kabul Times is an official English-language newspaper in Afghanistan. It was originally founded on February 27, 1962. The 2018 newspaper is generally seen as a pro-government political party.
After the coup of 1988, the Kabul Times was renamed the Kabul New Times, and began publishing communist discourses that were reminiscent of the Cold War period and highly conflicting with Western culture.
The paper was published in March after the fall of the Taliban.
